At your new patient appointment you can anticipate:

• When you make your initial call to schedule an appointment our experienced administrative team will determine your needs and schedule your new patient exam with our clinical team.
  
  
• Whenever possible, (if time allows) we will send you your initial paperwork so you can fill it out at your leisure and bring to your appointment.
  
  
• When you arrive you will be greeted and checked-in by our team.
  
  
• Adults will be scheduled with Dr. Stackpole for their initial exam. Minors will see one of our qualified team members for their initial appointment, and also be examined by Dr. Stackpole.
  
  
• Our clinical team will thoroughly review your medical and dental history.
  
  
• We will then take necessary films to enable us to do a complete diagnosis.
  
  
• Adults will then receive a comprehensive examination that includes:
  Review of previous dental treatment
  Thorough check for cavities
  Oral cancer screening
  Periodontal exam
  
  
• Your films will be reviewed and treatment options will be discussed. Adults will be rescheduled for their cleaning appointments with one of our highly skilled hygienists.
  
  
• If there are more urgent needs that should be addressed we will schedule those appointments first. An administrative team member will assist you with your dental insurance and financial options.
  
  
• Minors will receive their teeth cleaning, a complete exam with a fluoride treatment and necessary films at their initial appointment. We recommended that parents schedule their child's first visit between the age of 3 and 4 years.
  
  
• Children will also enjoy having their photo done at their initial appointment and a prize when they are done.
